Not that we were waiting for an epidemic to appreciate this planet – but what we have seen in last few days is nothing less than a studio planet . The woods are darker , the woods are deeper and thankfully there are no promises to keep – except Stay Home and Stay Safe.

The birds have flocked in excess around us – they whistle all day long as the trees rattle their wind chimes round the clock- The Cuckoo bird is all the more melodious and perhaps louder than ever- singing in pairs in an endless duet and mango trees have bloomed in golden hue like never before !

The streets wear an epic look – straight from the painter’s canvas with iconic buildings etched on both sides only to make a view without any traffic queue. The air is all time thinnest adding un accounted minutes in every breath- the sun shines only to brighten the days and to keep the earth smiling in spring and that too in full swing .

The autumn was never so poetic ever – walking down the street with my dog- I love walking on the dry yellow leaves – the silent morning march in this month of March is nothing less than song of Krackjack and Kurkure’ – I am thankful Zeus takes me for a walk everyday and yes at least twice a day.

Inside the house – family is loud and yes family time The Loudest . The supplies are limited , the entry is restricted, Laxman Rekha is constructed and House Helps extremely expected – What lies beyond this is truly unexpected – We all can cook , we all can dust, we all can mop and what a fun it is to see the milk boil and fall when you are on Skype or a Zoom call. The Work From Home has certainly improved our multitasking skills and JBP skills – the corporate hunks who can relate JBP are mistaken – It is Jhadu Bartan and Pochha !

The silence was never so silent – the winds were never so violent – The screeching brakes and honking horns have faded in oblivion and the gusty winds are scrolling down their lost turf to claim it with full might. The cars wait in their open parking patiently collecting layers of dust and then get drizzled once in a while, only to start again as they can sustain for weeks without petrol pumps and filling stations.

The adults have discovered their childhood again . The Ludos and Carams w are now enjoying the lime light and not to forget the pack of cards is back in business sticking around and exchanging hands to kill the sleepy afternoons after self cooked lunch. The family which sleeps together , eats together , plays together is the one which fights COVID together.

The locks were big but never big enough to LOCKDOWN the world- we all are living in the real world but at the same time virtually for our work as well – These times have taught us the meaning of dual existence – The real one at home ( where we are safe and secure) and e version at work ( where we are exposed 😊) . While the world may be divided in more ways than one the fight for COVID19 is now understood by everyone - Stay Home & Stay Safe

While 21 days may sound like BIG BOSS but let us keep looking at the +ves and cherish the time we spend with our loved ones – Life never gonna be same its only got to go insane 😊
